It would appear that Boomers was closed for a little bit due to some changes in management. News tips started pouring into The Newnan Menu yesterday about the restaurant being closed. However we called this morning and it was open for business. Below is a statement from their Facebook page.

Okay everyone we re-opened today, Friday 12/11 and under new management. Same ownership, different management. We are at this time serving the same menu, but we have comment cards for customers to complete so that we can decide what to keep and what to discard and how we may better serve you. We would like to hear some constructive criticism on our page also. We have a new chef, Micahel Barnes, who has his formal education from Le Cardon Bleu in Atlanta GA. The new manager is Catherine (Cathy) Gent who has 40 years experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. We look forward to serving you!
