Old Fairburn Rd Midas Building Getting New Tenant

The old Midas building on Fairburn Rd will soon be active again.

As we are catching up from some Christmas holiday tips, one we received showed signs of life for the old red and white Midas building on Fairburn Rd. Upon investigating further, we found a construction permit in the window which says the new tenant will be called “Rent A Wheel”. We dug a little deeper and found that a similarly named store operates in Decatur as a tire shop. As of now, we can’t find any connection to that store and this one, but the building certainly suits a tire place or oil change or auto repair shop. As of now, construction inside the building is ongoing and has been for a few weeks. At this time, no indication of an opening date, but of course we will let you know when they do.

Thanks to our tipster Bob for sending us this info!
