(Carrollton, Ga. February 10, 2016) Villa Rica High School Thespian Troupe #4701 was selected to
perform “Jerry Finnegan’s Sister” at the annual Georgia Thespian Conference. The conference is held in
Columbus, GA during the first weekend of February. The cast, sophomore Joey Snell and freshman
Hannah O’Driscoll performed this two person play for 600 students. Villa Rica High School received an
award for being a Georgia Thespian Conference Show and two students received Tech Awards. They
were senior Amari Ephraim and junior Kayla Minutillo. Director and Drama teacher at Villa Rica High
School, Brooke Evans, said,” The audience gave a standing ovation with tears in their eyes. It is an
unforgettable experience for my actors and tech crew to have and I am so thankful for this opportunity.”
