The City of Villa Rica is committed to keeping our city beautiful by helping to keep neighborhoods free of junk. Villa Rica offers this annual event to assist residents in disposing of unwanted items that are not typically collected by Waste Industries with the weekly residential service of household items. Have your cleanup items curbside by 7:00 am sharp on your usual yard waste/bulk item pickup date or call City Hall at 770-459-7000 for special assistance with large items up to 500 pounds. City crews will follow the “Clean City” solid waste pickup schedule, which is different than your Waste Industries trash/sanitation pickup. A color-coded map is available online at www.VillaRica.org with the pickup schedule.

Friday (lavender) – March 18, 2016
Monday (green) – March 21, 2016
Tuesday (light blue) – March 22, 2016

City crews will pick up the following:
Bagged lawn clippings/leaves | Plants materials | Small appliances | Small household items | Bicycles | Fence posts | Metal and aluminum | Miscellaneous junk items | Batteries | Furniture | Limbs no larger than 5-feet long and 10-inches in diameter | Mattresses | Tires | Washers and Dryers
City crews will not provide pick up the following:
Automobiles | Boats | Car Parts | Creosote-treated Wood | Crossties | Hazardous Materials | Household garbage | Petroleum-based products | Rocks and dirt | Items weighing more than 500 pounds | No Freon-based appliances or equipment | Paint Cans (unless lids are removed and paint dried and mixed with sand) | Petroleum-based Products | Roofing Shingles | Trailers | Unbagged Lawn Clippings or Leaves
