Since the closing of Broad Street Sweets a few years ago, visitors and merchants alike have been hoping for another full-service bakery in downtown Newnan. The wait is over! College Park-based Bolton’s Bakery will be opening a full-service bakery in the former location of Broad Street Sweets at 13 East Broad, just off the square. They will offer custom cakes, pies, sweets, breakfast rolls, donuts, etc. Renovations have begun, and the tentative opening date is June 1, 2016.
