(Carrollton, Ga. April 25 2016) Students at Temple Middle School participated in The Daughters of the American Revolution Abraham Baldwin Chapter’s Essay Contest, winning ten of the thirteen spots for their region. The winners were: Sixth grade Makenna Lyle (2nd Place), Bryant Moore (3rd Place), Rachael Brown (Honorable Mention). Seventh grade Michael Walker (1st Place), Christian Campbell (2nd Place), Terry Williams (3rd Place), and Indya Price (Honorable Mention). Eighth grade Alma Calvillo (1st Grade), Kyla Turner (2nd Place), and Rachael Brown (Honorable Mention). All of these winners are students of Ms. Gail Cuellar’s ELA/Literature class.
