(Carrollton, Ga. May 6, 2016) The Carroll County Elementary Honor Chorus held its annual performance on Thursday, May 5 th at Roopville Road Baptist Church. The honor chorus was comprised of 154 students in grades 4 and 5 from all twelve elementary schools in the Carroll County school system. The conductor and guest clinician was Mrs. Jennifer Williams, who is the music teacher at Euharlee Elementary School in Bartow county. The musical selections for the concert included “Ode to Peace”, “Riding in the Car on a Rainy Day”, “This Little Light of Mine” and “Kusimama”. The honor chorus students rehearsed from 1pm to 6pm and worked on correct singing skills, singing as a large group and polished the musical selections for the concert. The concert was held at 7pm with the Central Middle School Sound of Pride chorus as special guest performers.
