***Summer Art Classes 2016 Presented by the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County***

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/ Douglas County announces their Summer Art Classes lineup for 2016 which will run May 26th – August 1st.  Explore creativity with expert teaching artist as they cook up a variety of classes with something for everyone across all ages.  This summer both youth and adults will have the opportunity to expand their artistic horizons with the following sizzling new classes:

Acrylic Painting w/ Ms. Jassana  Isaac

Paint and Sip Night Out w/ Ms. Jassana Isaac

Unwind Your Mind Vision Board Workshop w/ Ms. Marigold Edwards

Private Voice Lessons w/ Ms. Meagan Mayne

Music for Lil Mozart w/ Ms. Meagan Mayne

Raise Your Voice Group Lessons w/ Ms. Meagan Mayne

Private String Lessons w/ Ms. Eleanor Bennett

String Along Ukulele w/ Mr. Stu Zonder

Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer w/ Mr. Tom Stavran

Journaling your Journey Creative Writing Workshop w/ Ms. Mona Scott

Lil Dreamers -Creative Drama Workshop w/ Ms. Courtnee Miles

 

All classes are held at the CAC and options are available during the day, evening and weekends.

The mission of the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County is to nurture, guide and stimulate the enjoyment of and participation in the arts among Douglas County residents by providing an atmosphere conducive to the arts, broadening the spectrum of quality exhibits and performances available to the community, and fostering individual interactions with the arts through a wide range of satellite groups.
