(Carrollton, Ga. May 20, 2016) Central High School senior Dallas Holm has been named a recipient of the Legacy Scholarship through the Montgomery Family Foundation. The scholarship was awarded to four (4) students nationwide, three (3) from Wisconsin and one (1) from Georgia. Dallas will be a fulltime student attending the University of West Georgia in the fall.
The Legacy Scholarship is worth up to $25,000 total, awarded $6,250 per year and renewable for up to four years of continuous full-time study leading to a bachelor’s degree. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, academic performance, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, financial need, letters of recommendation and the applicant’s essay. Dallas Holm met all requirements and is looking forward to beginning the next chapter of his life as a University of West Georgia student.
