Douglas County District 2 Commissioner, Kelly Robinson, is hosting the Douglas County HOA (Homeowners Association) Boot Camp on Saturday, August 20th, at Deer Lick Park. The Mission of the Boot Camp is to educate and empower existing or forming homeowner associations and homeowners, to provide information and enable relationship development through shared learning, and to improve self-governance from within. The free workshop will be held from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. in cooperation with the Georgia HOA Alliance.

Commissioner Robinson stated that “the Boot Camp is a place for homeowners and homeowner boards to network and learn best practices for their homeowners association. We discuss popular topics like elections, finance, management, and collections. We educate homeowners and their boards so they can avoid making decisions in isolation.”

The event has free admission and is open to the public. Pre-registration is required with Margaret-Kim McCarly at 678.401.3294 or [email protected].
