Jeff Russell’s success started out of the trunk of his car. He provided customers with cellular devices, and in 1993 Russell bought a store that became the first Russell Cellular. With over 300 stores nationwide, Russell Cellular has now extended their services to the Carrollton community.
Located at 421 Bankhead Highway, Russell Cellular bought the building that was formerly West Georgia Wireless. Russell Cellular provides their customers with a branch of Verizon Wireless service. Store Manager Johny Lowry explains, “We have the same stock as a Verizon store; the only way we wouldn’t have a product that they have is if we’ve already sold out of it.” Russell Cellular follows a business mantra of “O.V.T.” which stands for Opportunity/Value/Team. The Opportunity of providing a service to every customer that walks through the door matched with the Value that only Russell Cellular provides is accomplished by their Team of employees that share this common outlook.
The Carrollton location of Russell Cellular opened their doors this past April and will host an official Grand Opening August 22, 2016. With new management team and remodeling on its way, Russell Cellular of Carrollton is excited to bring the best service at the best price to our community.
