Douglasville Downtown Development Authority Presents $3,000 Façade Grant to POSolutions, Inc.

POSolutions -- Facade Grant Presentation
The Douglasville Downtown Development Authority awarded POSolutions, Inc. a $3,000 Façade Grant for the completion of work to their downtown façade. As part of the Main Street program and Downtown Development Authority’s (DDA) downtown business incentives, matching fund Façade Grants are issued to business and property owners in the DDA service area who make improvements to the outside of their buildings.

“POSolutions made significant improvements to their outside aesthetics, that greatly enhances the appearance of Main Street and we are pleased that they were awarded this grant,” states Rob Coats, Downtown Development Authority Chairman. “This grant is one of the many ways that the DDA is striving to assist downtown business owners, encourage development, and recruit new businesses to fill the few empty spaces we currently have.”

The improvement project included both 6713 and 6715 Church Street. Shandron Pemberton, owner of POSolutions, had both buildings painted red and added new signage to the front of the building.

The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is a non-profit board that aids in the revitalization efforts of the City of Douglasville’s Historic Downtown.
