Farmers Furniture is prepping to move to a new location in Douglasville over the next couple of weeks. They are currently located in the Forrest Mart shopping center at 6121 Fairburn Road.
Founded by Sherwin Glass in 1949, Farmers Furniture began as a hometown store in Soperton, Georgia. Today it is considered one of the largest privately owned companies in the state and is headquartered in Dublin, Georgia.
Moving sales have already begun. According to a sales associate, Farmers Furniture plan to move just down the road to their new location at 5793 Fairburn Road on August 21.
