Chick-fil-A officials announced on Friday that the first 100 customers to camp out and register for the new Carrollton location’s grand opening event will receive FREE Chick-fil-A for one year.
Carrollton Chick-fil-A Owner David Daniels said details on how to register are available on their website here.
“We want to invite everyone to register for our First 100 Campout promotion,” said Daniels. “The first 100 people to camp out at the new location, and register online 24 hours before the grand opening will receive free Chick-fil-A for a year.”
Registration will begin on September 12 at 6:00 a.m. with the new Chick-fil-A Carrollton grand opening’s taking place at 6:00 a.m. on September 13.
Daniels said certain rules apply to qualify for the First 100, and details will be posted soon on chick-fil-a.com.
Local Chick-fil-A lovers have been anticipating the opening of the new restaurant location, which will feature two entrances, as well as a double-lane drive-thru.
“Our drive-thru will have a door and canopy similar to the other location, which is very unique,” said Samuel Mancas, marketing director. “Only 2 or 3 other stores in the nation have those.”
The building’s interior will feature Chick-fil-A’s Heritage Package, which Daniels said offers a retro feel while also paying homage to the restaurant’s older-style layout.
“It’s a throwback feel to when Truett first started the business,” said Daniels. “It will feature the subway tile, which gives it the clean, old diner feel. We also have some of the wood look as well. One of my favorite things is the peach basket. When you think of Georgia, you think of peaches, so we will feature a peach basket in our dining room area.”
Parking was approved for the back of the lot at the new location.
“We’ve got parking approved for the back of the lot, and parking will also wrap around the back of the building,” said Mancas. “That will be good because it won’t interfere with people walking into the restaurant.”
Daniels said participants in the First 100 Campout will also have a chance to feed local children.
“During the First 100 event we will have a Feed Children Everywhere event where everyone who camps out will have the opportunity to help us package meals for children in our own community,” said Daniels. “We will work with local food banks to package about 5,000 meals for our community. At 6:00 a.m. on the day of our grand opening, we will award the certificates to our folks for their free meals, and we will open our doors. The official ribbon cutting will be held at 9 a.m.”
