Central High School Student Chosen to Participate in United States Senate Youth Program

(January 29, 2018, Carrollton, Georgia) Central High School Senior, Andrew Stewart, was recognized by the Carroll County Board of Education for being selected to participate in the 2018 United States Senate Youth Program. The United States Senate Youth Program is a unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interested in pursuing careers in public service. The 56th annual program will be held in Washington, D.C., from March 3 – March 10, 2018.

Stewart is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America, the Beta Club, the Spanish Honor Society, the National Honor Society, the International Club and Student Council. Additionally, he is Co-Captain of the Central High School Lion Pride Marching Band and is also a member of the Symphonic Band and PEP Band.

Stewart has earned numerous volunteer service hours assisting a variety of non-profit organizations with programs such as, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, the Special Olympics and the Joy
Prom.
