The Douglas County Chamber is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 Douglas County Chamber Raffle. A total of 350 tickets were sold by the Chamber Board of Directors. The raffle drawing was held at the Comcast Business After Hours sponsored by Pioneer Land Group at The Centre at Arbor Connection on May 31st.
“The Chamber is very grateful to have an amazing Board of Directors who helped sell the tickets,” commented Chamber President and CEO Sara Ray.
The evening was full of anticipation and excitement as each ticket was drawn. The winner of the first ticket drawn for the $100 prize was Rosco Sayyar. The $500 prizes for every 50th ticket drawn were awarded to Valerie Howell, Chris Stanley, Nancy Webster and Peggy Walker; Sayward Messelter, Charles Camp, Chris Pumphrey, Trina Smith, and Ira Noble.
The final two ticket holders were present at the event and after a quick negotiation, Deynna Jones-Respress and Kyle Gable split the $2,000 and $10,000 prizes, awarding them $6,000 each.
“I personally would like to thank every person who purchased a ticket. We couldn’t be the Chamber we are without the support of all of our members and others in the community who purchased tickets,” said Ray.
The Chamber Raffle supports the multiple community services and programs for Chamber Members such as networking events, monthly training seminars, the Buy Local program, and more.
