Saturday, September 15 Roopville Elementary School will be sponsoring the The Roopville Hornet 5K run. The race through Roopville rolling hills is an enjoyable event for the entire family. At the conclusion of the race the Roopville Homecoming Festival takes place. There are numerous award age categories and new and improved parking is available. Everyone who preregisters for the 5K run will receive a tee shirt. Proceeds from the event benefit the PTO of Roopville Elementary School.
