SONIC announced today that it is extending its newest mobile app feature, Order Ahead, in the Atlanta area. The new app allows guests to build, customize, place, schedule and pay for their SONIC orders within the mobile app.
According to a press release from SONIC, guests can pull into any open drive-in parking stall to be first in line every time to pick up their order. There’s no waiting in the drive-thru line or circling the parking lot for a special spot to become available.
The Order Ahead initiative is designed to make SONIC the most personalized quick-service restaurant experience.
“The drive-in restaurant format is uniquely designed for personalization and fast service, and guests know SONIC as a place that offers unparalleled customization. The introduction of the Order Ahead feature within the mobile app elevates these strong differentiators of the SONIC brand,” said Jose Dueñas, Sonic Corporation’s chief brand officer. “Expanding to Atlanta allows us to test customer communication and marketing of the new feature in preparation for a national rollout later this year.”
Atlanta guests will experience the customization and convenience of Order Ahead while enjoying exclusive app rewards.
