Steppin’ Out Performing Arts Celebrates Grand Opening of New Studio

A new dance studio in Newnan recently celebrated its grand opening on August 11. Cassie Jackson, owner of Steppin’ Out Performing Arts, said she is excited to open the new location at 1741 Newnan Crossing Boulevard East Suite B in the Kroger shopping center.

“We offer classes for children from ages 18 months to 12 years old,” said Jackson. “We teach ballet, tap dancing, musical theater, and much more.”

Jackson, who is originally from Arizona, says she started the business as a mobile dance company that served the Newnan and Peachtree City areas.

“I started teaching at the recreational centers in Newnan and Peachtree City,” said Jackson. “We finally got to where we were able to open a studio location and my husband, James, actually did all the work on our new studio location.”

Jackson says she is looking forward to see what the new studio brings for Steppin’ Out Performing Arts.

“We’re really excited to finally be open, and our grand opening went great,” said Jackson. “We want to invite everyone in the local community to come check us out.”
