The UWG Sustainability Expo will be held on April 18th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center. The Expo showcases the many sustainability efforts made by local businesses and organizations, from Southwire and Perpetual Motion Bikes to local farmers and Friends of the Greenbelt. There will be music, a food truck, baby goats, kids activities, and dozens of interactive booths.
The highlight of the Expo is the keynote speaker, David LaMotte, an international personality and author committed to bringing about positive world “change making”. His talk, which will start at 7:00 p.m., will use story and analysis to offer a new framework in which to examine our capacity to have significant impact on the world around us. There will be a book signing afterward.
