Leapin’ lizards! The Central High School Chorus Department is excited to present Annie: The Musical. Carroll County residents are invited to join Annie and her friends as they tell the heartwarming story of hope and positivity through song and dance. Annie takes place during one of the saddest eras in American history, The Great Depression. Filled with comedy, fantastic dancing, tremendous acting, and iconic songs, Annie and friends transport the audience on a journey of overcoming life’s challenges and finding family in unexpected places. The cast will perform fan favorites such as Tomorrow and Hard-Knock Life.
Teaming with Joey Huckeba, Kathy Waldrop, and Melissa Stamps, Chorus Director Ruthie Phillips is at the helm of this spectacular production comprised of Central Cluster students from Central High School, Central Middle School, and Central Elementary School.
Annie will be presented at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center. Performances are open to the public with tickets on sale for $10 at centralhs.booktix.com or for purchase at the door. All tickets are general admission with children age five (5) and under free.
