Over the past year, the Rotary Club of Carrollton has worked hard, volunteered hard, cheered hard and raised a lot of money to make a difference in our community. On May 14, the club celebrated this effort by proudly awarding $43,662 in donations to community partners.
“We are proud to support the community partners for their dedication and service – above self,” said club President Galen Hobbs, making a nod to Rotary International’s motto, “Service Above Self.”

Habitat for Humanity, Alice’s House, Alzheimer’s Group, Boys & Girls Club, PASS (formerly Communities in Schools), Healing Carroll Families, Circles of West Georgia, Council on Aging, Dawnbreakers Casino Night, Polio Plus, FERST Foundation, Friends of the Library, LWV Great Decisions, UWG/Jim Rash Scholarship, WGTC Scholarship, Job Shadow Day, Keep Carroll Beautiful, Share the Warmth, Rotaract of UWG, ARC for furniture, DFCS for playground, CASA, Child Advocacy Center, Interact Club, Central High School.
