Officials with the city of LaGrange have confirmed that new construction will soon take place at the former Texaco by the Lagrange Mall. We learned the construction will be a new Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. City officials tell us, “Yes, this is true. It will be located on Lafayette Parkway across from the Comfort Inn.”
Construction should begin soon on the freestanding building at 1511 Lafayette Parkway in LaGrange. We have no additional information to pass along regarding the reason for many dump trucks sitting under the old overhang at the former gas station.
