The City of LaGrange confirmed the demolition project at 305 New Franklin Road is the future home of Kentucky Fried Chicken. At one time where the present day Miami Made Fish and Chicken sits, KFC once stood. Soon just a few hundred feet from its original location a new KFC will rise.
On May 29, local realtor Daniel Realty and Insurance Agency broke the news on their Facebook page with this statement, “Kentucky Fried Chicken to locate in LaGrange. Jim Daniel of Daniel Realty & Ins. Agency, Inc. recently sold the property owned by Southeastern Associated Properties L.L.C., Jim Daniel and John McDonald co-owners, to a Franchisee of KFC. Property is located at 305 New Franklin Road. Construction is slated to start in late June or early July. Current tenant to relocate.”
Construction of the project is on time, as demolition of the former Georgia Auto Pawn wrapped up last week. Georgia Auto Pawn has relocated to 1504 LaFayette Parkway Suite B in LaGrange.
