Mill Town Music Hall welcomes back Grammy-nominated bluegrass group, The Isaacs and southern gospel group, The Diplomats on Saturday, September 28, at 7:30 p.m. ET. The two entertaining and award-winning musical groups will sing their messages of hope and faith. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
The Isaacs bring a unique style of tight, family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation. Their album, The Living Years, was nominated for Bluegrass Album of the Year at the Dove Awards. They have performed all over the world, including the CMA Fan Fest, Carnegie Hall and the Dove Awards show. The Issacs have received nominations from and has also performed for the IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) and the NQC (National Quartet Convention) Awards, as well as the ICMA Awards (Inspirational Christian Country). They frequently appear on other artists’ recordings, including Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley and Trace Adkins.
The Diplomats, based out of Carrollton, have been voted “Top Ten Mixed Group” by Singing News Fan Awards in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014. Led by Jimmy Pearson and wife, Rita, the southern gospel group is known for their upbeat and energetic style. Many talented performers have joined them on tour through the years, including their son and bandleader, Corey Pearson.
