Carrollton Main Street will serve up its 28th annual Taste of Carrollton culinary event, September 12, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
“Taste of Carrollton is one of our most highly anticipated events each year,” said Aundi Lesley, Carrollton Main Street director. “It’s a great opportunity to try a few bites from some of our most popular restaurants and caterers around town. And our judges are eagerly awaiting trying the food and awarding the highly coveted Restaurant of the Year designation.”
Taste of Carrollton is the city’s signature food event and showcases the diversity of dining available in Carrollton and Carroll County. Hungry attendees purchase tickets to exchange for bite-sized food samples and specialty items from local restaurants. Tickets are $1 each and samples range in price from one to four tickets. Tickets are on sale now at the Main Street office in the Train Depot on Bradley Street, Merle Norman Cosmetics and Horton’s Bookstore and will be available at the event.
The popular brew truck, featuring Printer’s Ale and other regional breweries, will again be on hand for thirsty festival goers. A food and brew package that includes five food tickets, wristband, souvenir cup and koozie is available for $25. Packages are available now online at www.carrolltondowntown.com/taste-of-carrollton-tickets. Purchasers then bring email confirmation of their transaction and valid identification to the Carrollton tent on the day of the located in the center of Adamson to redeem on the day of the event. Packages will be available for purchase during the event at the Carrollton tent. You must be 21 or older to buy a food and brew package.
