Ashley Park today announced its annual Fido Fest event on Saturday, September 14 from 11 AM to 2 PM on The Green near DSW Shoes. The free event will benefit the Newnan-Coweta Humane Society (NCHS) with dog adoptions on site.
“Ashley Park is excited to host its third annual Fido Fest. This event not only supports our local humane society, but also invites guests and their four-legged friends to enjoy a day together. We look forward to this fun and entertaining experience for our customers,” said David Macdonald, general manager of Ashley Park.
Fido Fest will include dog adoptions, live music, food trucks, lawn games, caricaturist, balloon artists and more. Newnan-Coweta Humane Society (NCHS) will have dogs from the Coweta County Shelter Pets for on-site adoptions. NCHS is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer, non-profit organization. A few of the dogs NCHS will have are: Joker, Suzie, Carlos and Bandit.
Matt Moskal will provide live music throughout the event. Matt will be playing a mix of classic artists, like The Beatles, Pink Floyd and modern indie artists like Death Cab for Cutie and Bon Iver. Fuel Coffee will offer cappuccinos for humans and puppuccinos for dogs. Tito’s Vodka will also be present at Fido Fest, providing merchandise for both humans and dogs. Tito’s Vodka donates 100 percent of the proceeds to support the Newnan-Coweta Humane Society.
This event is free to the public and pet friendly. Bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, friends and family and join Ashley Park at Fido Fest this year.
