A coming soon sign for an auto parts store was recently spotted on Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard at the new commercial development, Farmer Commercial Park. General manager of the Newnan NAPA Auto Parts Jeannie Aument tells us, “NAPA Auto Parts started construction on a new retail building which will replace the current location on Jefferson Street. We will now be a corporate-owned store.”
Construction plans indicate the new store will have more room for additional merchandise. Jeannie adds, “We don’t have the square footage yet, but hopefully it will be a little bigger than the Jefferson Street store since it is supposed to be multi-level.” She says she is personally thankful for the unique mix of rapid growth and the smalltown feel where, “Everyone knows everyone.”
It is not yet determined when the current NAPA Auto Parts on Jefferson Street would close. Construction at the new location on Millard Farmer Industrial is in full swing.
The City Menus also uncovered plans for a new 6,000 square foot warehouse with office space in the same area as the new fire station. The new fire station is located at 3 Farmer Commercial Park Drive just off from Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard. We do not have any additional details to share at this time.
