Cunningham Drive looks much different now than it did just a few weeks ago. The City of Carrollton issued a demolition permit a month ago so that the remaining homes on the eastern side of Cunningham Drive could be demolished. Now that all the homes are gone, a grading permit has been issued, and grading has begun to make way for a new student living community named OctivRow.
Hayley Beaver, city planner with the City of Carrollton tells us, “The building permit is under final review by our engineering department; once it’s approved, construction on the building will begin.” The premiere student housing community just a block from the University of West Georgia will feature two and four bedroom garden-styled, furnished units along with a community clubhouse. OctivRow is managed and leased by Spectra Student Living and is currently accepting new leasing applications for their August 2020 opening date.
