The Carrollton City Schools Nutrition Program poured a lot of love into preparing Thanksgiving feasts at all of our schools last week. They teams collectively prepared about 1,500 pounds of turkey, 150 pans of dressing, 130 gallons of green beans, 75 pans of mashed potatoes, 12 gallons of cranberry sauce, and several other traditional treats!

Schools were recognized for their hard work with CHS receiving the Best Overall Meal and Best Turkey awards. CJHS received awards for Best Potatoes and Gravy and Best Team Spirit. CUES had the Best Dressing, and CES was recognized for the Best Green Beans.

CES also received the Golden Turkey Award for best overall experience.

Administrators, teachers, and CHS Student Council members did an excellent job of helping serve our staff and students.
