Haralson County Home to New Boutique and Restaurants for 2019

For 2019 our top stories for Haralson County feature a new children’s boutique and three new restaurants. Two of which, Popeyes and Dairy Queen actually lie within Carroll County, but are included with this story since they serve the city of Bremen which is most commonly known as a Haralson County community.

Sweet T’s Bowtique opened a brick and mortar at 101 Atlantic Avenue, Bremen, Georgia, in a building that was originally built in 1898. Owners Lacey and Tyler Rouzee purchased the building and completely repurposed it to showcase the new storefront. Click here to read the full story. 

Mama-N-Em’s Southern Kitchen opened in early December with a calling back to the southern way of living. “Mama” Becky Austin and her husband, “Big Papa” Shawn Austin invite those near and far to try their new restaurant located at 2754 Georgia Highway 100 South, Tallapoosa, Georgia. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen opened July 8 at 1970 Alabama Avenue in Bremen. About a month later the national fast-food chain launched a new chicken sandwich rivaling with the famous Chick-fil-A sandwich. Those loyal to Chick-fil-A’s chicken sandwich recipe should know that, despite rumors, Chick-fil-A has not yet confirmed a Bremen location. Click here to read the opening story for Popeyes.
