In support of state and local efforts to slow the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19) and to protect the health and well-being of our employees and citizens, the City of Whitesburg will be taking the following precautionary measures:
Effective immediately (March 17, 2020) all City of Whitesburg owned facilities (with the exception of the Police Department) will be closed to the public until further notice. Employees will continue to report to as usual.
The City of Whitesburg Police Department will operate during normal hours. If you need to contact the Police Department, please call (770) 832-1184.
Certain services will continue to be available by phone or on-line. Please contact our main number at (770) 834-0848 for additional information. For convenience, a white drop box located in front of the Whitesburg Recreation Center is available for water bill payments.Â
