Construction is in the final stages for a new distribution warehouse and retail store for Flowers Bakery at 3506 Highway 16 East in Sharpsburg, Georgia. Site plans were submitted to Coweta County Development in April 2019 for a 8,500 square-foot facility that can service up to 14 delivery vans. Retail products will be offered in the bakery outlet facing the front of the building.
An identical concept store recently opened in Carrollton, Georgia, at 1514 Bankhead Highway. This store offers a wide variety of baked goods, along with loaves of bread and packs of buns that can be purchased starting at 79 cents and up.
Sharpsburg’s Flowers Bakery has not yet announced an opening date.
