Hixtown Brewing Company announced today that it is closing its doors until further notice. The brewery could not reopen under the terms of their being deemed a bar, because the Georgia Governor’s current Executive Order prohibits the reopening of bars in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. In their announcement they noted a recent decline in sales of to-go orders once other restaurants reopened.
On May first the brewery marked its one year anniversary at 407 Main Street, Villa Rica, Georgia.
