A new restaurant will soon add to the ever-growing popularity of frozen custard in the Newnan area. Freddy’s Frozen Custards and Steakburgers is currently working through the permitting phase for a new location at Newnan Crossing and Summerlin Boulevard. The new location will be south of the Promenade at Newnan Crossing and the LINC. A spokesperson for Freddy’s, Kim Huynh says, “We hope to have a formal development timeline to announce in the coming months.”
Freddy’s was founded in 2002 in Wichita, Kansas, and has over 400 locations across the United States. The menu focuses on steakburgers, frozen custards, specialty sundaes, and concretes which are blended sundaes. In June of this year, a Freddy’s opened nearby at 1215 Highway 85 North in Fayetteville, Georgia.
