Bremen City Schools Invites Community to Veterans Day Program

    UPDATED 12:15PM – 11/9/2020

Due to the possibility of rain and due to increased numbers of COVID positive cases in Haralson County, we are implementing the following changes for the Veterans Day program on Wednesday, November 11th:

    • Location – The program will be held in the Hamilton-McPherson Fine Arts Center instead of the stadium. It will still be at 9:00 a.m. and we are asking Veterans/Active Military to arrive no later than 8:45 so we can direct them to their seating, which will adhere to safe social distancing. Only family of Veterans/Active Military, who are needed to assist their family member, will be allowed to attend.
    • Who Can Attend – Please understand that we have to cut way down on the number of people who can attend. Therefore, only Veterans/Active Military and program participants will be able to attend. No other students, staff or parents will be able to attend.
    • Live Streaming – The program will be streamed through the school system’s Facebook Live and YouTube channel and will be streamed to all BCS classrooms as well as to the public.

I truly regret that we are having to make these changes, and in advance, I appreciate everyone understanding our need to do so.
