Ashley Park in Newnan Announces First Eat in the Street Event

On Friday, October 16 from 5:30-8PM, Ashley Park will host its first-ever Eat in the Street outdoor dining event, allowing patrons to socially distance and support restaurants during COVID-19. The center will close a portion of its main street to pedestrian traffic only and place tables in the street for guests to enjoy dinner outside. Restaurants will be able to expand their dining areas so customers can order ahead or grab-and-go. Guests will also enjoy live music entertainment by two-time American Idol contestant, Isaac Streetman, and a fall-themed photo op as well as a socially-distanced pumpkin patch.

“We invite the community to join us for a fall evening outdoors and allow our restaurants to handle dinner for your family,” said David Macdonald, general manager for Ashley Park. “Eat in the Street is a great opportunity for you and your family to enjoy time together while supporting our local restaurants.” This event also kicks off the center’s first-ever pop-up Pumpkin Patch on The Green. Beginning the evening of October 16 throughout the following week, families are invited to stop by at their convenience and pick up a complimentary pumpkin from the patch,
