The legendary barbecue restaurant near Adamson Square, Sam’s House, is reopening under new ownership tomorrow, Wednesday October 14 at 11:00 a.m. The establishment had been serving (and will continue to serve) Memphis-style barbecue to Carrollton’s residents for over a decade until they closed for the ownership realignment on September 28th. Former owners Chris Davis and Wyleen Williams are handing over the reins of the restaurant to Nick Keith of Nicholas Keith Enterprises, L.L.C. “Nick has been with the Sam’s House family for years and has extensive experience in restaurant operations,” said Davis. “He stated that it is his mission to continue and build upon the solid foundation that Sam’s House has built over the years. While taking a step back, we will continue to assist Nick as we transition into new roles.”
The restaurant will continue to operate as Sam’s House and serve the authentic Memphis-style barbecue that Carrollton locals have turned into a staple of their diet. Keith confirmed the restaurant will “definitely” be ready to open October 14th in a limited capacity.
Currently Sam’s House will be carry-out-only for a couple more weeks. “Once we open dining room access, it will be on a limited seating basis due to Covid-19,” said Keith.
Keith and the rest of his staff look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy the same experience Carrollton locals have been enjoying for over ten years. Come check them out!
