Philly Phresh: Veteran Owned Apollo’s Steaks Now Open

A native Philadelphian has turned his favorite childhood food into a business opportunity. The former owner of Philly Shack in Southwest Atlanta, Apollo is now the proud owner of Apollo’s Steaks in Newnan. “Being from Philly I grew up on the cheesesteak. Now being an entrepreneur I decided to put two and two together and open my own restaurant in Newnan,” said Apollo.

Apollo moved to Newnan two years ago and began to look for a spot to open his next restaurant. He found it off Robinson Street and Pinson Street near downtown. Shortly after, Apollo’s Steaks was born. “Family comes first, and community comes second,” said Apollo. “I wanted to build something for the community.”

Apollo combines the authentic Philadelphia taste with a dose of southern hospitality. Apollo’s Steaks offers four different types of cheese steaks, an assortment of seafoods, as well as fried chicken wings. All entrees can be combined with a tasty side dish or delicious desert. An authentic cheese steak consists of Sweet peppers, hot cherry peppers, onions, mushrooms white-American cheese on a lightly toasted Amoroso roll. Apollo makes all of his cheese steaks with these choice ingredients.

Apollo’s Steaks can be found at 45 Robinson Street, Suite D in Newnan. They can be called at 770-667-4811 and located on Instagram at apollossteaks. Their menu and other web information can be found at apollossteaks.com. Get your authentic cheesesteaks from Apollo for your next meal out in Newnan!
