A new spur route of the Carrollton Greenbelt is almost ready for use. The concrete has been completed and cured on the new stretch between the Tanner Health System walking trails and Bradley Street beside The Stewart House. This is the first step in connecting the Greenbelt to Downtown Carrollton. While the concrete has not been striped yet, it is ready for use by pedestrians and bicyclists. A ribbon cutting ceremony with Tanner and the City of Carrollton is in the works for sometime in February.
