Construction is underway on two new exciting recreation developments in Newnan. Work on the new CJ Smith Park and the new Newnan Skate Park are coming along. We first reported about the skate park in March of 2020 and CJ Smith Park in October.
In other news, On January 19, 2021, the Friends of the LINC celebrated a “Ribbon Connecting” event on the new LINC bridge of I-85. The new portion of the LINC is open for pedestrians and bikers.
