A made-to-order burger and fries chain is giving Douglasville another shot, just one exit down from its previous location. The City Menus recently discovered plans for Five Guys to go in at 9484 Georgia Highway 5, at the intersection of Douglas Boulevard.
The restaurant will anchor a new retail facility that is currently under construction where the old Chevron gas station existed in front of the Homegoods/Beall’s Outlet Shopping Center. Five Guys will have 2,600-square-feet of the facility, while the remaining space has yet to be signed for. However, according to the plans it appears a drive-thru will be a part of the other half of the building.Â
This comes on the heels of Five Guys closing their original Douglasville location in September 2019 at 2987 Chapel Hill Road, which we reported about (read that story here).
