Newnan residents looking for an icy treat as the spring and summer months come around will now have another option. Pelican’s SnoBalls have rolled their way into the city. Chip Bishop, the owner of the Carrollton location, has officially opened the doors of the Newnan location at 471 Highway 29 North near the intersection with Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard.

The new location features a drive-thru and will have outdoor seating and games coming soon to provide a fun place for the family to hang out in the warmer months. The walk-up window will be open on warm days. Pelican’s is open every day except when they close for the height of the winter season in December and January.  The franchise also has a SnoBall truck available for catering events and gatherings.

Pelican’s SnoBalls (not snow cones) is a franchise born in New Orleans with over 185 brick and mortar locations across 15 states. They combine soft and fluffy shaved ice and over 100 bold flavors with options for gluten free, fat free, cholesterol free, nut free, no high-fructose corn syrup, dye free, and sugar free. There are also lots of topping options.
