Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Tuesday honored Villa Rica Police Chief Michael Mansour with a proclamation recognizing him as the 2021-2022 Outstanding Police Chief of the Year. A number of Villa Rica city officials traveled with the chief to the State Capitol in Atlanta, where they met with Kemp and local lawmakers in the governor’s ceremonial office.
