Carrollton will serve up its annual Taste of Carrollton culinary event, September 29, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
“This is one of my favorite events every year,” said Alyson Moffit, Carrollton Main Street program coordinator. “We’re excited to showcase the variety of tasty creations by our local eateries.”
Taste of Carrollton is the city’s signature food event and showcases the diversity of dining available in Carrollton and Carroll County. In the past, hungry attendees purchased tickets to exchange for bite-sized food samples and specialty items from local restaurants. Starting with last year’s event, Taste is now a cash-only event with food samples ranging in price from one to four dollars.
The popular brew truck, featuring Printer’s Ale and other regional breweries, will again be on hand for thirsty festival goers. Brew packages will be available at the event for $30. They include pours of unique craft brews from the beer truck and an event-exclusive souvenir cup. Customers can buy brew packages in advance online at carrolltonga.com/annualevents or at the city’s tent on the square during Taste of Carrollton. Must be 21+ to purchase.
Local band, Ugly Betty, will perform at the Amp at Adamson Square during the event.
