Owner, Janeth Torres is so grateful to all her wonderful patrons of El Rey Del Sabor at 916 Maple Street in Carrollton. She tells us, “I purchased the Express Mexican Grill in March, and since then former customers of the grill have continued to support us, and we’ve gotten busier each day since.” Janeth has been a staple of the community for many years as she has worked at another local Mexican restaurant and works at a local school cafeteria.
One of the most popular Mexican cravings is a Mangonada, which is deliciously prepared with a mango sorbet, mango chunks, and chamoy topped with chili powder. She adds, “This I really love and is one of my favorites along with loco corn, which is a whole corn with mayo, cotija cheese, tajin and Valentina sauce”
El Rey Del Sabor also hand makes all their tamales! You’ll definitely want to try not just one but two! You’ll find a west coast vibe pickup window along with an ease of access drive-thru and sitting area. El Rey Del Sabor is located directly next to SIPS, which just opened. SIPS SODA is a great compliment for your Mexican meal!
