Vault Self Storage Celebrates Grand Opening in Carrollton

Michael Keefe and Jason Kauffman, property managers of the Region Bank building, have officially completed the last hurdle to open a storage facility, Vault Self Storage in Carrollton. The new climate-controlled self-storage facility is located in the bottom floor of the Regions Bank building at 777 South Park Street, just off Trojan Drive.

The storage facility provides unit sizes ranging from 5’-by-5’ to 10’-by-20’. Customers can sign up and pay online. “It’s pretty much 100% automated.”

“Customers can rent a unit online, and the website walks them through all of the steps needed to access their unit,” Michael continues, “and there’s an App that they use to get in and out of the building and get in and out of their units.”

Originally, after the space was gutted and ready, Michael and Jason were looking for other tenants to fill the basement space; but “[N]obody seemed to want to go in there.”

“So, we decided that a good use for it would be climate-controlled storage units.”

It did take Michael and Jason a couple of years and “a few hiccups along the way” to get the facility built out, but they say, “Now we’re ready for our first customers.”

Those interested in renting one of their units can explore their website here…. “Look and book,” as they like to say.
