New things are happening in the New Georgia area! Several new businesses are coming to the intersection of Ridge Road and Highway 61. There is a BP branded gas station and convenience store are being added near the Publix shopping center. A new car wash will be coming soon across from Mavis Tire. Both developments are still in grading and site prepping, but the foundations should be laid and the framework will come up in the coming weeks. Currently there is no concrete opening date for either of the businesses. Stay tuned for future updates on these developments.
A new business in the shopping center just celebrated a Grand Opening right next to the Publix near the intersection of Ridge Road and Highway 61. The Tutoring Center has opened there. Boasting nearly 30 years of experience, The Tutoring Center is ready to help younger students with reading, writing, mathematics, and science. They are also skilled in prepping older students for the SAT and ACT. Preparation for these tests offers one-on-one tutoring sessions to make sure the students get as much enrichment as they can. The Tutoring Center can also help gifted students in Advanced Placement classes prepare for their AP exams in the hopes that they can earn college credit by performing well on their AP exams. The center makes learning fun!
