Get the Shiba Experience in Winston

Now open in Winston/Douglasville, Shiba Coffee and Tea Company strives to bring the community the “best coffee and tea that you’ve ever had.” According to Owner Phillip Welch, he has been importing and roasting coffee since 2019, but Shiba has only been open a few months in a shared building with Austn’s Truck Parts. “It is definitely a unique location, but, hey, there are a million coffee shops out there and you have to be unique,” Welch said. The company was founded with the mission of delivering the best coffee and tea experiences to customers everywhere. Shiba is known for sharing focus on coffee and tea and takes pride in bringing the highest quality beans and teas to use. The company sources coffee beans and tea leaves from all around the world. “You won’t find us using cheap robusta beans for our espresso drinks either. We love to find rare and unique coffees–and teas as well. We just want to be a coffee shop with a focus on coffee, not sugary drinks with low quality coffee,” Welch said. Shiba even has loyal clients–cafes and restaurants–that its products are regularly shipped to.

Shiba Coffee and Tea Company is located at 2545 Cochran Industrial Boulevard. To contact the owners, customers can call 770-609-4847 or email [email protected]. More information about the company and its products is also available online at www.shibacoffeeandtea.com.

Customers can also place orders online at that website. “We would love to be a place where anyone can come and feel welcomed while enjoying a great cup of coffee,” Welch said.
