Beloved Thai Restaurant, Eat Thai Closing in Newnan

Eat Thai, located in Historic Downtown Newnan will soon be closing. A Facebook post published on their page reads in full:

“Dear Valued Customer,
It is with sadness and regret that I must inform you that we will be closing our restaurant on [July 23]. Nothing has given me more joy than to be able to prepare and serve the flavorful cuisine of Thailand. Thank you for your patronage and kindness over the past 5 years.

The restaurant will be missed dearly by the community. It’s known for the adored owner and chef, Aey, who serves Thai food with authentic flavor, spice, and heat.

Customers have called it “the best Thai food around” and have also praised Aey’s wonderful spirit and superb cooking skills.

When asked about what she will miss, Aey says with a warm smile, “I will miss my customers.”

Eat Thai is located at 33 E Broad Street and current hours are for lunch 11:30 A. M. to 2:00 P. M. and dinner 5:00 to 8:00 P. M. Updates on Aey and the restaurant are posted to Facebook.
